The procedure is performed under local or general anesthesia. Small incisions are made inside the scalp, and the tissues in the temple area are lifted upwards. Excess skin is removed if necessary, and the incisions are closed with aesthetic sutures. The average procedure time is 1–2 hours, and patients are usually discharged on the same day.
